Operator MAB
Roche Switzerland bridges the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, housing essential research and development functions. We are seeking an experienced Operator MAB for our long-term client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG, based in Basel.
Background
The upcoming production of Ocre in 2026 necessitates the operational support of shifts within the manufacturing environment of large molecules (MAB). This role involves upstream processing (USP) and will commence in March 2026, concluding by the end of Q1 2027. The operators will be employed under a 6/4 shift model.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Weighing of raw materials
- Sampling
- Laboratory work: Cell count, pH testing, etc.
- Supporting plant maintenance activities
- Cleaning
- Material management (local storage areas)
Must Haves
- Minimum vocational degree with a technical background and manual skills; a Biotechnologist is preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a Pharmaceutical / GMP production environment
- Ability to perform physical work, including weighing processes and handling raw materials
- Basic MS Office skills, familiarity with MES/PLS (electronic documentation system)
- Fluency in German (minimum B2) in both speaking and writing
- Strong teamwork skills
