Operator MAB
Roche Switzerland bridges the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, with key research and development functions based here. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual for the position of Operator MAB to support our esteemed client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG, in Basel.
Background:
To facilitate the swift transfer of Ocre in 2026 and the production of clinical and PPQ batches, operational support is essential in the manufacturing environment of large molecules MAB. This role will focus on upstream processing (USP), commencing in March 2026 and concluding at the end of Q1 2027. Operators will work in shifts, following a 6/4 shift model.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Weighing of raw materials
- Sampling
- Laboratory work: cell count, pH, etc.
- Supporting plant maintenance activities
- Cleaning
- Material management (local storage areas)
Must Haves:
- Minimum vocational degree, with a technical background and understanding; manual skills are required, ideally as a Biotechnologist.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a Pharmaceutical/GMP production environment.
- Ability to perform physical work, supporting the weighing processes and handling of raw materials.
- Basic MS Office skills; experience with MES/PLS (electronic documentation system) is advantageous.
- Fluent in German (minimum B2 level) in both speaking and writing.
- Strong team player.
