Position Overview: Logistics Specialist

As a Logistics Specialist, you will manage all local logistics aspects at Bad Zurzach. This includes the setup and continuous improvement of the warehouse, stock level management, inventory checks, shelf-life management, and picking of material, along with all other tasks required by SR Technics policies. You will also oversee the receiving, packing, and dispatching of goods, materials, and tooling in accordance with the provided requirements. Additionally, you will arrange, monitor, and manage all shipments between our two main bases: Zurich Airport and Bad Zurzach.

Your Tasks

  • Guarantee quality and safety of workmanship in accordance with all applicable SR Technics and Airworthiness Authorities rules and regulations at all times.
  • Execute and promote Continuous Improvements applying Lean principles to achieve all targets.
  • Support the setup and continuous improvement of the local supply chain according to the ramp-up plan.
  • Pick and deliver materials according to provided dates, ensuring safe and secure transfers both locally and inter-base.
  • Process all goods in a timely manner (receipt, pick, pack, ship, system update, etc.), adhering to data provided and SR Technics policies.
  • Support internal logistics to meet targets and maintain committed RTS dates.
  • Ensure all required transfers are executed as necessary, managed, and monitored.

Your Profile

  • Apprenticeship as a technician or equivalent required.
  • Experience in SAP (MM/SD module) desired.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in general Supply Chain Management.
  • Aviation regulation knowledge (EASA Part 145, etc.) required.
  • A self-disciplined, consistent personality required.
  • A communicative team player with a positive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrates a high level of personal accountability and attention to detail.
  • Experience in an international work environment across cultures/locations.
  • English B2 level and German C1 level required.
