As a leading global reinsurer, our company provides clients with a diversified and innovative range of reinsurance and insurance solutions designed to manage and control risk. Through our principle of "The Art & Science of Risk," we leverage industry-recognized expertise and cutting-edge financial solutions to serve our clients and enhance the welfare and resilience of society across approximately 160 countries worldwide.
Data is central to our strategic plan, Forward 2026, serving as one of the four key enablers. The Data and Analytics Office (DAO), led by the Group Chief Data & Analytics Officer, is responsible for defining and executing the Data Strategy across the organization. This includes establishing a well-governed data foundation, impactful data products, and advanced analytics and A.I. capabilities. The DAO collaborates with various stakeholders, including the CIO and COO, to identify opportunities to create genuine business value aligned with our organizational objectives.
At our company, you will engage with some of the brightest minds in the industry—actuaries, data scientists, underwriters, risk modelers, engineers, and more—as we collaboratively tackle pressing societal challenges. Our corporate culture, reflected in our core values, emphasizes caring for clients, people, and society; performing with integrity; acting with courage; fostering open-mindedness; and thriving through collaboration.
Our vision encompasses data sharing as a core principle, coupled with a commitment to responsibility, ensuring privacy, security, and sustainability are integrated into all data products. The DAO team, characterized by its international and multicultural composition, incorporates diverse skills in business, design, product governance, engineering, analytics, and AI to shape the reinsurer of the future. The Data Strategy & Governance team, a vital part of the DAO, is dedicated to interfacing with business units and other parts of the organization to drive and execute the data strategy closely aligned with our business goals.
As an influential member of the Data Strategy & Governance team, the Lead Data Governance will take ownership of the data governance framework and oversee its operationalization. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the data strategy across various business areas (e.g., Property and Casualty, Life & Health, Investments) and collaboration with key stakeholders to establish trust in our data assets. The Lead Data Governance will also play a crucial role in advancing our transition to self-service data, a critical step in our pathway toward 2026.
