About Us

Our award-winning ecologically designed campus is situated in the heart of the Rheintal, in Buchs. As a 'small and mighty' not-for-profit international day school, we offer a supportive environment within a thriving community of 200 students and over 50 staff members. We are an International Baccalaureate World School, providing a comprehensive international education in English for children ages 3 to 19. We are seeking to recruit a dedicated and impactful full-time Kindergarten / Early Years Teacher to join our International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) community. The successful candidate will become part of our diverse team of experienced international school educators at our age 3-19 school.

Candidates should bring a rigorous and inclusive approach to teaching and learning within the primary years, particularly with an interest in continuous provision and the development of impactful Early Years education. A strong background in language teaching for both English home language and English language learners, along with a commitment to an inquiry-led approach, is essential. You will bring learning to life both inside and outside the classroom.

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Are qualified primary years teachers with a minimum of three years of teaching experience, and hold at least a bachelor's degree.
  • Possess significant experience and expertise in teaching within the primary phase, particularly in Early Years.
  • Are willing to go the extra mile to design and deliver engaging learning experiences.
  • Promote a well-organized, inspiring, and inquiry-led learning environment.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and demonstrate a positive, empathetic approach to students, colleagues, and the wider community.
  • Are internationally-minded and committed to the IB philosophy and approach.
  • Are comfortable integrating technology into teaching and learning for improved student outcomes.
  • Are committed to continual improvement.
  • Engage with and contribute to the full life of the school.
