Position: Engine Performance Expert

We are looking for an Engine Performance Expert to join our “Engine Technology” team within the Digital division's product management department in Switzerland. In this role, your focus will be on the development and application of domain-specific analytics to optimize engine performance. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of advanced tools and software solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing emissions in our customers' fleets.

Your Responsibilities

• Utilize your strong knowledge of engine performance to support the development of innovative analytics tools and software solutions.
• Develop and maintain analytic models for Tekomar XPERT, providing operational support related to production of engine-specific configurations.
• Assist in engineering work related to engine tuning, turbocharger matching, thermodynamic simulations, and suggest adjustments to the engine control system for Engine Part Load Optimization (EPLO).
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders regarding product and consulting offerings.
• Provide second-level customer support and troubleshooting for Tekomar products in service.

Your Background

• A completed degree in a relevant field (Mechanical Engineering or similar).
• Solid understanding of internal combustion engines with a willingness to deepen your knowledge.
• Experience in engine technology within an industrial setting or exposure through academic projects or internships.
• Familiarity with developing analytical models and a desire to grow in this area.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Proactive and solution-oriented working style.
• Self-motivated and curious, eager to learn and take on new challenges.
• A team player who can effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of agile product development or a willingness to learn, along with an interest in the marine market.
• Good communication skills in English (German is a plus).
