About This Role:
As the International Commercial Lead for Alzheimer’s Disease, you will drive performance, strategic direction, and commercialization excellence across diverse international markets. This pivotal role involves ensuring strong alliance governance, effective cross-regional alignment, and the execution of impactful commercialization strategies. You will play a crucial role in strengthening marketing capabilities and advancing Biogen’s leadership in Alzheimer’s disease while also shaping the Alzheimer’s Disease landscape. You will manage strategic initiatives, oversee market development, and lead the International Therapeutic Area Council (iTAC). This position is integral to our international business structure, providing critical insights and leadership to align global product strategy with market needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive business performance and progress across international markets, fostering innovation and creativity.
- Lead and advance Biogen’s positioning in Alzheimer’s disease globally.
- Drive product lifecycle management through intelligent resource allocation and clear strategic priorities.
- Lead the development and execution of key strategic initiatives and cross-market projects.
- Chair the International Therapeutic Area Council (iTAC), incorporating market insights into global product strategy.
- Lead preparation and coordination of the quarterly alliance governance cycle.
- Serve as Commercialization Team Co-Chair, ensuring high-quality meeting content and execution of follow-up actions.
- Act as the commercial lead across Asia, LATAM, and Biogen governance forums.
- Collaborate across departments to align programs, operations, communications, and business objectives with organizational strategy.
- Co-lead the annual commercialization planning and budgeting process for all international markets.
- Monitor and analyze performance trends across international markets, delivering insights via scorecards and global dashboards.
- Represent the organization at key scientific congresses and engage with key medical experts and stakeholders.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA highly preferred.
- 12+ years of commercial experience in pharma or biotech.
- Strong executor with excellent strategic thinking and ability to translate insights into action.
- Proven capability in alliance and stakeholder management.
- Commercial excellence and financial acumen.
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and/or dementia is valued.
- Marketing visionary and innovative mindset.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization and market dynamics.
- Fluent in financial reporting and budget management; ability to develop and support a business case for investment.
Nice to Have:
- Track record of developing robust global marketing strategies to support brand growth goals and strategic alignment across regions; Global and/or affiliate in-line marketing experience.
- Expertise in building brand architecture that supports global branding, positioning, and competitive messaging.
