Your Role and Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will serve as the interface between ABB’s Information Systems and internal customers. By utilizing storytelling and cross-media communication, you will guide end users on their journey towards a more digital workplace. You will oversee the planning and execution of internal communication initiatives within ABB Switzerland, while also participating in global activities spearheaded by Group Communications and Group Information Systems.

The work model for this position is hybrid, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote collaboration.

This role is part of the Motion Business Information Systems Function based in Baden-Dättwil, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities

• Propose and implement internal communication plans, ensuring alignment with management, stakeholders, and budgetary constraints.
• Develop creative concepts for communication materials while adhering to corporate branding guidelines, and oversee the use of internal and external resources.
• Organize internal events, exhibitions, and roadshows to enhance user awareness and support business activities.
• Manage internal communications, foster cross-team collaboration, and assist in change management and training for digital workplace adoption.

Qualifications for the Role

• Strong educational background in Internal Communications and Change Management (minimum Fachhochschule level).
• Experience in Internal Communications.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools such as PowerPoint and Publishing Tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English (C1) and German (C1).
