Become an essential part of SMG and join our Board Affairs team starting from May/June 2025 as our new Intern. The internship is planned for a duration of 6 to 12 months.

Board Affairs supports senior management in the preparation of meetings at the top decision-making level and in various exciting projects. In this position, you will gain insights into different areas of expertise through a broad range of tasks and close collaboration with various departments across SMG. Further, the position will provide you with direct insights into the decision-making process at the Executive level and immediate proximity to the key decision-makers of the company. Hence, this is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support in the preparation, planning, and coordination of Board of Directors meetings.
• Responsible for the preparation of Top Management Meetings (including participation in the meetings) and for coordinating the preparation of regular reportings.
• Assist in the development of presentations and other materials in close collaboration with different departments across SMG.
• Support the Director of Investor Relations in establishing the Investor Relations function and structures.
• Execute various ad-hoc tasks for the attention of upper management and collaborate on various exciting projects.

Qualifications

This is what you bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related fields.
• First relevant work experience (e.g., internships) in Consulting, Strategy, Business Development, Finance, Project Management, or related fields is a plus.
• Independent, structured, solution-oriented, and precise work style with a strong attention to detail.
• Discretion when handling confidential information.
• A high willingness to learn, optimistic charisma with a can-do mentality, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• An excellent command of English and German.
