Your Role
The Infor Solution Architect plays a critical role within the IT Business Process Management organization, serving as a senior architectural counterpart to IT Business and Technical Consultants. This role supports and enhances requirement engineering by translating business needs into coherent, scalable, and standardized Infor CloudSuite solution designs.
The Infor Solution Architect is responsible for shaping and guiding the implementation of integrated business solutions connected to the Infor CloudSuite Industrial Enterprise. Acting as a strategic link between business departments, global IT teams, and external implementation partners, this position ensures that Sefar’s digital landscape bolsters operational excellence, process standardization, and global scalability across manufacturing, sales, and service organizations.
Your Tasks
- Architecture & Solution Design
- Analyze business requirements in collaboration with IT Business Consultants and validate them against Infor CloudSuite standards and best practices.
- Translate business and process requirements into end-to-end solution architectures using Infor LN, CRM, and CPQ.
- Define target solution architectures aligned with global process standards.
- Create and maintain architectural blueprints, including application, integration, data, and security architecture.
- Ensure architectural consistency and compliance with IT governance standards.
- Business Partnering & Advisory
- Act as an architectural advisor to IT Business Consultants during requirement definition and solution design phases.
- Support business stakeholders across departments such as Sales, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain with solution-oriented guidance.
- Conduct architecture workshops, design reviews, and feasibility assessments.
- Collaborate closely with IT Business Consultants, Technical Consultants, project managers, developers, and external implementation partners.
- Implementation Management & Technical Leadership
- Provide architectural leadership during Infor LN, CRM, and CPQ implementations and rollouts.
- Support IT Business & Technical Consultants during build, test, and deployment phases.
- Guide configuration decisions, extensions, and integration designs.
- Design and govern integrations between Infor solutions and surrounding enterprise systems.
- Manage architectural risks and ensure solution quality.
- Support data migration and cutover activities.
- Operations, Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Support lifecycle management of Infor applications in collaboration with IT Business and Technical Consultants.
- Evaluate new Infor CloudSuite releases and innovations for business relevance.
- Identify opportunities for optimization, simplification, and standardization.
- Maintain solution documentation, design standards, and reference architectures.
- Project Leadership
- Take lead roles in Infor implementation and migration projects.
- Support project planning, timelines, and quality management.
- Coordinate architectural topics across internal and external project teams.
- Contribute to project reporting and risk management from an architectural perspective.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Significant experience with Infor CloudSuite, Infor LN, CRM, and CPQ.
- Strong understanding of business processes and requirement engineering in an ERP context.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud and SaaS architectures.
- Experience with Infor OS, ION, IDM, Workflow, and APIs.
- Proven experience in global ERP transformation programs.
