Hotel Housekeeper Job Responsibilities

As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing cleaning duties in all apartments and guest areas.
  • Consistently offering professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Ensuring that housekeeping departmental standards are adhered to.
  • Responding promptly to guests’ special requests for items like cribs, cots, and extra towels.
  • Maintaining an inventory of necessary supplies.
  • Reporting necessary maintenance items for timely resolution.
  • Adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Following all safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Assisting other departments as needed to ensure optimum guest service.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Housekeeper Qualifications / Skills

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Previous housekeeping experience is essential.
  • Experience in the Switzerland hotel industry is a plus.
  • A valid driver’s license is an advantage.
