About the Team:
You will be a key member of the Product Organization, the innovation engine responsible for designing, developing, and sourcing innovative products.
Your Mission:
- Strategic Alignment: Drive close collaboration between the sourcing organization (primarily based in Vietnam) and the wider product organization (based in Switzerland).
- Integrate Sourcing Considerations: Ensure sourcing requirements are strategically embedded into the product roadmap, allowing all projects to be fully ‘sourcing ready’ by the time of product freeze.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a strategic partner across cross-functional teams, including Innovation, Creation, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sustainability.
- Learning Culture: Implement a ‘learning culture and process’ within our product development framework to consistently enhance quality and on-time delivery.
- Portfolio Execution: Deliver a sourcing roadmap that aids in the flawless execution of the product portfolio, effectively balancing cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
Your Story:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic footwear sourcing; experience in production operations within apparel and accessories is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization, with a specific emphasis on sourcing integration points, along with experience in upstream product strategy, innovation, and quality management.
- Ability to ‘connect the dots’ across functions and navigate ambiguity while adapting to changing priorities.
- Proven leadership skills for managing a portfolio of cross-functional projects.
- Strategic thinking and execution capabilities, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and drive successful execution within a complex organization.
- Experience in cross-cultural collaboration, demonstrating effective teamwork among geographically dispersed teams (e.g., Europe and Asia).
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with diverse internal stakeholders at all levels, influencing outcomes and driving consensus.
- A continuous improvement mindset with experience in implementing methodologies that foster a learning-oriented environment.
