Job Title: Head of Business Administration Programs

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated leader for the role of Head of Business Administration Programs. This position involves significant academic leadership in the areas of Business Administration, with specializations in International Business, Marketing, Sports and Entertainment Management, and Cybersecurity Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, training, and developing programs to ensure academic quality and student success through effective teaching, meaningful service, and impactful scholarship.

General Statement of Mission & Reporting Line

The Head will oversee and coordinate the discipline faculty, both full-time and part-time, ensuring that they are supported in providing a high-quality educational experience for students. The Head will focus on course and program outcomes, maintaining the utmost relevance and quality of course content, whether within a Major or Minor. All Heads are expected to demonstrate strong mission-oriented leadership, empowering colleagues to implement strategic approaches, policies, and procedures that enhance the academic experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the academic quality assurance of teaching, research, and community service.
  • Reimagine the Bachelor of Arts in Management curriculum.
  • Integrate the International Business curriculum effectively.
  • Develop a curriculum and assessment model for a Global Master in Business Administration.
  • Create curricular synergies by collaborating on existing and new curricular initiatives.
  • Foster an integrative research culture aligned with institutional and programmatic research statements.
  • Support research initiatives and pursue external grant funding opportunities.

Objectives

  • Develop identified curriculum and assessment strategies, including programs and courses.
  • Collaborate on curricular and research projects with national and international partners.
  • Support program review and analysis, providing recommendations to the Academic Director.
  • Conduct annual faculty reviews, analyzing performance and providing constructive feedback.
  • Organize and chair programmatic faculty meetings at least once a semester, focusing on quality assurance.
  • Contribute to faculty orientations, new student orientations, advising days, and welcome weeks.
  • Engage in enrollment and retention initiatives and related events.
  • Actively promote and contribute to the programmatic and institutional research culture both on and off campus.
