Your Role and Responsibilities

As a GTF Quality Inspector, you will:

  • Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and piece parts on schedule (PW1100G-JM).
  • Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
  • Request and execute engine modifications.
  • Control executed modifications and configurations on individual parts and assemblies.
  • Perform assigned work on time, ensuring the quality of work.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance quality and safety.
  • Handle operating equipment (resources) with environmental consciousness.
  • Measure control of the assemblies in mounted condition.
  • Execute tasks in a timely manner and carry out independent self-control of performed orders.
  • Document activities assigned according to regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits (e.g., 5S audits) and implement defined actions in a timely manner.

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training, preferably specializing in metal (polymechanics, plant and equipment engineering, machine mechanics, or equivalent).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
  • Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA part 145/part 66.
  • Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends.
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
  • Open-minded and dedicated team player with strong communication skills.
  • High safety, quality, and cost awareness.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP experience.
  • Knowledge of the English language (level B1); knowledge of German is a plus.
