As our Global Business Development Manager for Life Science, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining GF Piping Systems' activities within this sector. Your mission will be to unlock the untapped potential of our offerings in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Consumer Health Care, and Medical Labs & Institution segments. The objective is to maximize global capabilities by building relationships with key stakeholders, defining the value proposition, and developing sales strategies that position GF Piping Systems as a preferred supplier within the Life Science Industry, all while addressing existing gaps and seizing new opportunities. This role can be based in Switzerland, Germany, France, the Nordics, the Netherlands, or Belgium, all of which are hotspots for the Life Science industry.
Your Tasks:
Define ambitious and realistic sales targets for the Life Sciences sector, aligned with the 2030 company strategy.
Formulate actionable strategies and go-to-market plans to achieve these targets while ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
Lead efforts to define and promote a compelling and differentiated value proposition in key areas such as Water for Injection (WFI), Deionized (DI) Water, and Waste Stream management.
Reignite and build momentum within the sales organization, fostering collaboration and providing strategic guidance to enhance the effectiveness of sales teams across regions.
Develop strong relationships with prioritized End Users, EPCs, and Water-related OEMs in the Life Science industry.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of GF's offerings for the Life Science industry, including fusion technologies, prefabrication, and consulting services.
Attend industry events to expand your network and participate as a speaker on industry panels and forums.
Develop marketing materials and sales playbooks to effectively showcase GF Piping Systems' portfolio for Life Science, with support from marketing professionals.
Conduct training sessions for sales teams and GF's network.
Your Profile:
A master's or bachelor's degree, preferably in a Pharma or Life Science-related field.
Over 10 years of experience in the Pharma/Life Science market, with a broad network of connections within EPCs and Water Treatment OEMs.
Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, water requirements, and plant and water treatment.
Strong technical and biological knowledge to work directly with pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and research labs.
Excellent verbal and presentation skills, combined with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
A passion for building relationships and the ability to inspire institutions, decision-makers, and stakeholders with your ideas.
Fluency in English at a professional level; additional languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.
