Position: Global Brand Manager Gastro

We are seeking a talented Global Brand Manager for our Pharmaceutical Division Headquarter located in Allschwil-Basel. This role is pivotal in defining our business and marketing strategy to ensure sustainable growth for our Gastro brands portfolio in key markets.

Primary Job Function

The Global Brand Manager will implement comprehensive marketing plans and tactics, ensuring full support from regional teams and affiliates, ultimately leading to commercial success.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and champion marketing brand plans aimed at enhancing the growth of Gastro brands in key indications, outperforming competitors, and driving overall brand growth that surpasses the market.
  • Conduct essential market insights and research to address significant questions regarding unmet needs and customer experiences, integrating these insights into activation strategies.
  • Establish global inspirational goals for brand indications while driving brand positioning, competitive differentiation, and messaging.
  • Design, plan, execute, and monitor key marketing programs for brand indications through a portfolio selling approach and multi-channel execution, engaging key customers (HCPs/Pharmacists/Patients).
  • Create a global launch plan for brand indications, establishing priorities for alignment and execution, and monitor implementation closely at the affiliate level.
  • Communicate effectively with local marketing and sales teams to execute marketing programs, reviewing and refining affiliate marketing plans to align with strategic goals.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of the promotional support budget to enhance both brand top-line and bottom-line performance.
  • Develop monitoring mechanisms for assessing marketing program execution, preparing monthly reports for senior management, performance dashboards, monthly highlights, and relevant ad-hoc presentations.
  • Coordinate and promote the sharing of best practices across regions and affiliates.

Minimum Education

University degree (preferably in Science and/or Business), ideally complemented by an MBA or similar postgraduate marketing qualification.

Minimum Experience/Training Required

  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical sales and marketing experience in an affiliate or region, with exposure to global project initiatives.
  • Proven success in Rx brand management, preferably managing Gastro franchise products.
  • Experience in OTC brand management and the creation of DTC campaigns.
  • Experience working in Emerging Markets is a significant advantage.

Languages

Fluency in English is required. Additional languages such as Chinese, Hindi, Russian, or Spanish are a plus.
