Our award-winning ecologically designed campus is situated in the heart of the Rheintal, in Buchs. We are an International Baccalaureate World School, providing a full international education in English for ages 3 to 19. International School Rheintal is seeking to recruit an outstanding PYP/MYP German Teacher.

Your Profile

We are looking for candidates who are highly experienced in teaching German Language Acquisition (German B) to both fluent and beginner primary-age German speakers. Proficiency in German at a native level is a significant advantage. We seek teachers who are professionally committed to a student-initiated, inquiry-led approach to teaching and learning, and who enjoy collaboration within a diverse team.

We are seeking teachers who:

  • Align with our guiding statements and values
  • Are qualified teachers with at least three years of teaching experience (with qualified teacher status or an internationally recognized equivalent) and a minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Possess significant experience and expertise in teaching German Language Acquisition (German B) in the primary and/or middle years

  • Exude enthusiasm and demonstrate a positive, empathetic approach to students, colleagues, and the wider community
