Job Description
The Tatzelwurm Childcare & Montessori Center is situated in a quaint neighborhood, ideally designed for nurturing children's development in a nature-oriented setting. With easy access to the forest, Bruggerberg, the water castle, and school complex, along with convenient transportation links, our center caters to children from 3 months to 6th grade. We accommodate children in two age-mixed groups and two dedicated kindergarten & school groups. Additionally, we operate an extra group for kindergarten & schoolchildren in a nearby municipality. Our high-quality care philosophy emphasizes tailored developmental approaches, ensuring each child's unique individuality is respected while creating a warm, welcoming environment.
Your Profile
- Education at tertiary level (e.g., Diploma in Child Education, Social Pedagogy)
- Leadership training or willingness to complete it
- Leadership experience is an advantage
- A passion for working with children
- Strong team spirit, resilience, and a sense of responsibility
- Motivation, flexibility, and openness to new situations
- High professional, social, and leadership competence
- Goal-oriented and solution-driven approach
- Professional, consistent, and exemplary attitude

Your Tasks
- Leading and managing the institution, overseeing all administrative and organizational responsibilities
- Providing appreciative leadership to a team of around 20 employees, including 5 management team members
- Implementing pedagogical concepts and regulations
- Supporting the team in their professional development
- Enhancing public relations, promoting parent involvement, and organizing events
- Participating in and contributing to regular board meetings
- Maintaining relationships with authorities and schools
- Engaging in exchanges with peer groups and community connections
