Job Description: Food Data Analyst

As our Food Data Analyst, also affectionately known as the "Matcher Ninja," you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of food data from our clients to ensure precise calculations of CO2 footprints as well as other environmental and health indicators. Your role will also involve generating, reviewing, and correcting CO2 reports before sending them to clients, along with providing support for data-related client inquiries and communication.

We seek a committed and diligent team player who enjoys contributing to a more sustainable food society. You should possess a solid technical skill set, be comfortable working with Excel files and data, and thrive both independently and as part of a team. A background in environmental sciences, food technology, or relevant knowledge of LCA is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately link client food data with our environmental data and models.
  • Acquire and process additional product specifications from clients and food producers.
  • Support quality management by ensuring food data is processed correctly (updating guidelines, documenting missing products and synonyms, reporting bugs, and suggesting automation improvements).
  • Generate, review, and correct CO2 reports.
  • Assist with data-related client inquiries.
