Your Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services US Tax Manager/Senior Manager to lead and manage complex tax engagements for our financial services clients. In this role, you will utilize your comprehensive understanding of US tax regulations and financial services to deliver strategic tax planning and compliance services. Your leadership and ability to interpret complex tax data will be instrumental in navigating the ever-changing tax landscape.

In this role you will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the financial services sector, understanding their unique needs and delivering tailored tax solutions.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies that align with client objectives and industry standards, maximizing tax efficiencies.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring compliance with US tax regulations and internal standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex tax issues, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of US tax regulations and their application to the financial services industry.
  • Interpret and analyze tax data to provide insightful reports and recommendations, supporting clients in making informed financial decisions.

Your Skill Set

  • Minimum of 5 years of US taxation experience with an international accounting firm or similar, specializing in US tax issues of partnerships, corporations, or complex trusts.
  • Bachelor's degree with a specialization in accounting/taxation or a law degree from an accredited university.
  • CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent qualification.
  • Extensive technical skills pertinent to the financial services industry, along with successful experience in identifying client needs and driving new service opportunities.
  • Proven experience as a team leader, establishing direction, motivating team members, and driving innovation.
  • Demonstrated success in generating new business, writing proposals, and collaborating across engagements and business units.
  • Advanced knowledge of tax compliance software and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
