The IKEA Supply AG Treasury, a vital part of the Inter IKEA group, is a globally recognized entity that expertly manages multi-billion currency risks. Our team is dedicated to overseeing Foreign Exchange Risk and Cash Management at the ISAG Treasury, while simultaneously providing Treasury advisory services to support the organization. We are currently seeking a Financial Risk Manager to ensure that our team's knowledge and skills remain top-notch, ultimately delivering the best outcomes for ISAG and the Inter IKEA Group.

Job Description

Your main tasks will include:

  • Managing primarily foreign exchange risk, alongside credit, counterparty, and liquidity risks.
  • Executing foreign exchange trades with external counterparts, including foreign exchange options.
  • Contributing to the development of treasury policies, rules, and strategies.
  • Providing Treasury advice to various departments within the organization.
  • Being an integral and strong team member.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered a plus.
  • 5 to 10 years of portfolio management experience in a multinational corporate environment or financial institution.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess financial data, evaluate risks, and devise risk management strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of foreign exchange markets and the economic factors influencing currency fluctuations.
  • Experience with common financial instruments, financial models, and treasury systems (such as Bloomberg and/or Reuters).
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to swiftly evaluate risk scenarios and implement solutions.
  • Capacity to perform well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence in making decisions in uncertain and high-pressure situations.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex risk concepts and trading strategies to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of commodities is a plus.
  • A driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented team player with a high level of cultural awareness.

This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and based in Pratteln, Switzerland.
