About the Company:
ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems with a capacity of up to 500 kilograms. The company provides industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems for a variety of mission profiles, including Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo.
Position: Field Service Representative
As a Field Service Representative, you will perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of ANAVIA’s UAV systems. You will diagnose technical issues, provide client training, and ensure compliance with safety protocols while traveling internationally.
Your Main Tasks:
- Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of ANAVIA's UAV systems at client locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Provide comprehensive training to clients on the operation and maintenance of UAV systems.
- Travel extensively, both locally and internationally, to support customers in various locations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during all field operations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of service activities, including issues encountered, solutions implemented, and progress reports.
- Assist in the development of service manuals and training manuals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to effectively address customer needs.
- Identify and suggest process improvements for enhanced service delivery while collaborating with the engineering team to relay client feedback.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Completed higher education (e.g., ETH, HTL) certification in electronics, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in aviation maintenance or as a field service representative.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electronic issues.
- High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
- Responsibility paired with excellent communication skills and high social aptitude.
- Good analytical and technical understanding with the ability to effectively train and support clients.
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and software relevant to UAV systems, along with solid computer skills and ERP knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer targets and receiving positive customer feedback.
- Excellent active listening and probing skills.
