About the Company

ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems with a capacity of up to 500 kilograms. The company offers industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems tailored for various mission profiles, including Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo.

Key Tasks

  • Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of ANAVIA’s UAV systems at client locations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Provide comprehensive training to clients on the operation and maintenance of UAV systems.
  • Travel extensively, both locally and internationally, to support customers in different locations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations during all field operations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of service activities, including issues encountered, solutions implemented, and progress reports.

Other Tasks

  • Assist in the development of service manuals and training manuals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to effectively address customer needs.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements for enhanced service delivery while collaborating with the engineering team to relay client feedback.

Competencies & Duties

  • Work independently and responsibly, performing assigned tasks as described above.
  • Adhere to ANAVIA’s employment contract and comply with the company’s safety instructions and employee safety requirements.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge of company products and services.
  • Expect up to 40% of working hours to involve international travel.

Qualifications

  • Completed higher education certification (e.g., ETH, HTL) in electronics, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in aviation maintenance or as a field service representative.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electronic issues.
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Responsible with excellent communication and social skills; strong analytical and technical understanding to train and support clients effectively.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to UAV systems.
  • Solid computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer targets with positive customer feedback.
  • Strong language skills in English (oral and written); proficiency in German and/or other languages is desirable.
