Job Description

Field Sales Engineer (FSE) - Switzerland

Job Summary

The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and expanding MPS's business in Switzerland. This role involves identifying high-potential customers in various sectors, including automotive, industrial, and consumer applications. The ideal candidate should possess a robust sales background and an established understanding of the Swiss market.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all design-in activities and ensure successful implementation within assigned customer accounts while acquiring new customers.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets consistently.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and engineering teams within the MPS product divisions to identify target applications and circuits, increase design wins, and expand market share.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with management and design engineering teams at strategic customer organizations.
  • Identify and engage new target customers to enlarge the MPS customer base.

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and effectively apply MPS's complete product portfolio.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, collaboration, creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Persuasive communicator capable of articulating and advocating business strategies, revenue goals, and customer requirements to MPS executive leadership and product divisions.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Technical degree (minimum Bachelor's) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience with a proven track record of selling electronic components for 4+ years.
  • Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week.
  • Location: North of Switzerland or Southwest Germany.
