Job Opportunity: Field Account Manager R&D Strategic Accounts (x|f|m)

We are seeking a talented Field Account Manager for our R&D Strategic Accounts within the Sales Bioprocess Solutions department. You will be based in Switzerland (Canton of Valais), Germany, or the United Kingdom (Greater London area). In this vital role, you will focus on our Strategic Accounts within the biopharmaceutical industry, enhancing Research & Development efforts. This is a full-time remote position, requiring occasional on-site presence at our strategic accounts in Switzerland or the UK. The role entails approximately 50% travel within the specified region.

Grow with Us – Your Responsibilities

  • Execute the seeding strategy within Strategic Accounts and modality segments.
  • Establish strong technical relationships with customers to drive technology adoption and collaborate effectively with the commercial team.
  • Provide consultancy to accelerate molecule development and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Present Sartorius solutions that are relevant and practical for customers and their key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct trials and demos at customer sites to commercialize early opportunities, working closely with Field Account Specialists and Business Area teams.
  • Support process transfer regionally and globally, sharing knowledge and best practices with the commercial team.
  • Act as a process consultant to encourage the adoption of Sartorius technologies and support regulatory activities to enhance market awareness and professional reputation.

What Will Convince Us

  • A Master's degree in biochemistry, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, or an equivalent in life sciences.
  • Several years of experience in biopharmaceutical process development, scale-up, process characterization, technology transfer, production, or application support in upstream or downstream processes.
  • Proven skills in relevant process unit operations in cGMP bioprocessing, along with related regulatory knowledge.
  • Understanding of biologics drug development and application processes, with the ability to communicate and present technical values effectively.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams without formal authority, taking ownership of projects while collaborating effectively.
  • A commercial mindset and an inspiring business sense.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or German is a plus.
  • Self-motivation and ambition.
  • An openness to change and a drive for continuous improvement with an entrepreneurial spirit.
