We are seeking an Event Manager (50%) to join our team, starting immediately or by mutual agreement, with a contract limited until December 31, 2026.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders regarding events at the FIFA Museum.
  • Engage in active sales of event offerings, including conducting site inspections of all event spaces.
  • Receive and process event inquiries, as well as create offers, contracts, and internal function sheets using event software.
  • Oversee events from inquiry to post-event follow-up, coordinating with supervisors and managing data entry.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of spaces and event bookings, collaborating effectively with all operational departments.
  • Work closely with caterers to obtain quotes and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Professionally handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring solution-oriented communication.
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing statistics related to events.
  • Participate in various sales and marketing initiatives within the Commercial Department.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and optimization of event software.
  • Assist in preparing invoices within the Event Services area.
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings, collaborating with technical, housekeeping, F&B, and other teams.
  • Support the coordination and deployment planning of the tour guide team.

Our Requirements:

  • Commercial training complemented by further education in meetings & events, hospitality, or tourism management.
  • Professional experience in hospitality, event management, or related fields.
  • Fluency in both German and English, with additional languages being a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and a process-oriented working style.
  • Independent and pragmatic approach, with a quick understanding of tasks.
  • High self-initiative and ability to assess situations swiftly.
  • Professional demeanor with a strong focus on guest service.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and manage various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicative personality with a reliable and appreciative communication style.
  • Creative, innovative, and committed, with a hands-on mentality.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a sensitivity to the needs of colleagues, partners, and guests.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
