Job Description
We are seeking a full-time, experienced English and Spanish Language Coordinator to work with a diverse range of students aged 11 to 18. The ideal candidates will be committed and ambitious individuals, capable of coordinating and delivering language provisions in small group settings.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading and delivering CPD to subject teachers and will be responsible for monitoring the delivery of Languages throughout the secondary school. Applicants must possess experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities.

Candidate Requirements
- Proven track record with at least 5 years of language school-based teaching experience (preferably in an international school).
- Qualified to Bachelor's Level (minimum).
- Recognized 120 hours English Language Teaching Qualification, such as Cambridge CELTA, DELTA, or Trinity Certificate TESOL.
- Knowledge of the CEFR and common language exams (KET, PET, FCE, IELTS).
- Experience in teaching pre-A1-B1 learners.
- Experience coordinating language programs across the secondary school age range.
- Experience training and supporting classroom teachers in delivering EAL strategies within their subject areas.
Main Duties
- Coordinate the school's language provision across secondary age ranges.
- Teach across various age and ability levels, adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
- Contribute to wider school life by participating in sporting events, extracurricular activities, and other enrichment opportunities.
- Seek to enhance your own professional practice and development.
- Demonstrate a clear commitment to the safeguarding of all young people.
- Complete any subject-related administration and participate in or lead department meetings.
- Follow the school’s assessment and reporting processes and attend parents’ meetings as required.
