Job Opportunity: DMPK/PD Data Scientist
We are seeking a talented DMPK/PD Data Scientist to join our Translational PKPD and Clinical Pharmacology team. This role plays a critical part in advancing our understanding of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, contributing to the successful development of our drug candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support non-clinical toxicokinetic, pharmacokinetic, and PKPD studies.
- Assist with front-end and back-end IT infrastructure related to planning, execution, analysis, and database management of non-clinical studies.
- Evaluate and quality check standardized TK and PK protocols in collaboration with external partners (CROs) to streamline turnaround times.
- Validate external TK and PK reports in cooperation with internal stakeholders and study monitors to ensure timely data provision for final reports.
- Serve as the TK and PK customer representative for automated data analysis and prediction tools, including integrated high-throughput PBPK models and automated NCA workflows.
- Integrate available in vitro and in vivo non-clinical data, and maintain databases and software utilized by drug discovery teams (e.g., Certara D360, Tibco Spotfire).
- Align data analysis workflows with other methodologies such as PBPK modeling, machine learning models, and PKPD models (developed in R, Berkeley-Madonna, Phoenix WinNonlin, Monolix, Morphit).
- Explore and implement AI-supported reporting of TK data into final reports.
Requirements:
- MSc or PhD degree in life sciences, computer science, mathematics, or statistics, with a preference for industry experience.
- Familiarity with TK and PK study designs, as well as data analysis from in-life processes to reporting.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, R, C++, Java, SQL), along with knowledge of machine learning, cheminformatics, computational chemistry, biology, or toxicology.
- Strong team player with a proven track record of working effectively in interdisciplinary and collaborative environments.
