Job Opportunity: DMPK/PD Data Scientist
We are seeking a dedicated DMPK/PD Data Scientist to join our Translational PKPD and Clinical Pharmacology team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics and are eager to contribute to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support non-clinical toxicokinetic, pharmacokinetic, and PKPD studies.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of front- and back-end IT infrastructure for the planning, execution, analysis, and database curation of non-clinical TK, PK, and PKPD studies.
- Evaluate and quality check standardized TK and PK protocols in collaboration with external partners (CROs) to improve efficiency.
- Validate external TK and PK reports with internal stakeholders and study monitors, facilitating timely data incorporation into final reports.
- Act as a representative for automated data analysis and prediction tools, including high-throughput PBPK models and automated NCA workflows.
- Integrate and visualize available in vitro and in vivo non-clinical data, and maintain software utilized by drug discovery teams (e.g., Certara D360, Tibco Spotfire).
- Align data analysis workflows with PBPK modeling, machine learning (ML) models, and PKPD models.
- Explore and implement AI-supported reporting of TK data for final report generation.
Requirements:
- MSc or PhD degree in life sciences, computer science, mathematics, or statistics, preferably with relevant industry experience.
- Understanding of TK and PK study designs, data analysis, and failure analysis.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, R, C++, Java, SQL), with knowledge in machine learning, cheminformatics, computational chemistry, biology, or toxicology.
- Strong team player with a proven record of successful collaboration in interdisciplinary teams.
