Based in north-western Switzerland, Aero Group is a well-established EASA Part-CAMO organization. We hold ratings for piston and turbine airplanes, as well as for piston and turbine helicopters, including capabilities in electrical and avionics. Position Available: Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (DNPCA)
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage maintenance policy and program, including submission to FOCA for approval.
- Plan and oversee Line and Base maintenance activities.
- Coordinate resources to the CAMO work program through effective work planning and issuing work-orders.
- Conduct all maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance contract.
- Provide technical follow-up and analysis of Aircraft Technical Logs.
- Verify work reports, technical records, and aircraft releases to service from contracted organizations.
- Ensure modifications and repairs meet approved standards.
- Implement Airworthiness Directives and manage the retention of continuing airworthiness records.
- Oversee the operator’s aircraft optional modification policy and defect rectification process, including follow-up of MEL/HIL.
- Monitor and amend the CAME, submitting proposed amendments to FOCA.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to maintain and build customer relationships.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with contracted Part-145 organizations and Flight Operations.
- Assist the NPCA in assessing ADs, SBs, and SILs.
- Execute “Aviation Design Project” orders as required.
- Support the NPCA and CMM (Compliance Monitoring Manager) with internal auditing and review all CAMO processes in accordance with Part-145 maintenance providers’ MOE and CAME.
- Navigate and comprehend company manuals, aircraft manufacturer manuals, and EASA regulations.
Requirements:
- Ideally, previous experience in a similar position with at least 5 years in maintenance control activities, or 2 years in the same field if holding/held a maintenance certification license in category B1, B2, or C.
- Strong knowledge of the aviation field and relevant technical education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools with solid IT skills.
- Excellent reputation with a clean criminal record and extract from the debt collection register.
- Fluent in French and English; proficiency in German or other European languages is a plus.
- Demonstrated management skills with natural leadership qualities; reliability, accuracy, and willingness to accept responsibility.
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland; residing in Switzerland or willing to relocate to the Neuchâtel region.
