We are currently seeking an engaging Telecoms Project Manager to join our team, providing first-class project management for the installation, connection, and testing of telecom technologies for Data Centres across Europe. Working as part of a global team, you will be responsible for coordinating regional projects that align our global standards with the specific needs of local clients. You will be part of a local team within a global family, where we will fully support you as you acclimate to this thrilling global initiative.
Key Deliverables
The following duties are encompassed within this role:
- Provide end-to-end project management for the execution of telecom packages and associated technology.
- Scope project requirements while engaging with relevant stakeholders, subcontractors, and PTS local and global teams.
- Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress against project schedules.
- Collaborate with internal PTS teams to design, develop, and implement projects.
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors conducting installation and testing activities.
- Deliver projects on time while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Ensure all supporting documentation is comprehensive and accurate.
- Monitor and report on project KPI metrics.
- Communicate effectively with clients, allied trades, PTS teams, and project stakeholders to bridge any gaps or perceived risks to project delivery.
- Identify potential risks or issues and take proactive steps to resolve them.
- Seek opportunities for improvement and propose innovative process ideas.
Skills & Attributes
- Self-starter with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in White Space design and installation, with a solid understanding of standards such as TIA-568, TIA-569, TIA-606, TIA-607, TIA-758, TIA-942, EN50173 1-6 & EN50174 1-3.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of projects from initiation to completion, including planning, scheduling, and supervising work crews.
- Review bids from subcontractors and select the most qualified candidates based on expertise and reputation.
- Establish the overall success criteria for projects, encompassing time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
- Monitor project costs and scheduling to ensure timely project completion.
- Review blueprints and plans to ensure constructability of systems.
- Coordinate the hiring of subcontractors as necessary for timely project delivery.
- Maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction with work performed.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and allied trades to ensure clarity and accuracy of system scope.
- Engage in project planning, ensuring the creation of detailed project plans.
- Manage the flow of information among team members through regular meetings and communication.
- Communicate with clients throughout the construction process to keep them informed of project progress.
- Observe health and safety regulations and conform to local and national laws and guidelines.
Experience & Education
- At least 5 years of industry experience in a project management or program management role, preferably in the construction/MEP/Telecoms sectors.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field.
- Qualifications in data centre design and structured cabling systems are required.
- Qualifications in copper and fiber optic cabling testing (e.g. Fluke CCTT) are necessary.
- A comprehensive understanding of the total project life cycle, from conception through operational phases to completion and post-project review.
