Tasks

As a Data Analyst, your role will enhance SWISS’s data capabilities by optimizing crew productivity and planning efficiency. You will drive data-driven decision-making, develop impactful analytics, and shape the future of crew planning through automation, predictive insights, and strategic collaboration.

  • Provide data-driven insights to optimize operational targets such as crew productivity by analyzing key performance metrics and trends.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards, reports, and scenario models to support planning decisions and strategic reporting.
  • Continuously improve data quality, automate reporting processes, and expand self-service analytics to empower crew planning teams.
  • Implement best practices in data analytics, including predictive modeling, to drive continuous improvement.
  • Effectively communicate insights and collaborate with stakeholders to align crew planning with SWISS’s operational and strategic goals.
  • Act as a key interface between data analytics and crew planning teams, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement in planning processes.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in data science, engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related analytical field.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong SQL coding skills and experience with at least one programming language (Python or R preferred).
  • Excellent analytical skills, including data interpretation and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
