As part of the curriculum revision for the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in Architecture, the Department of Architecture (D-ARCH) at ETH Zurich is seeking a Project Coordinator for 'Curriculum Revision'. The revision process for the Bachelor curriculum commenced in January 2023, aiming for implementation in HS 2025. Simultaneously, the revision process for the Master program began in January 2025.

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator will collaborate with a steering committee consisting of the Director of Studies, the Study Coordinator, and the Educational Developer of D-ARCH. This role reports to the Executive Board as well as the Schulleitung and is integral to the development of the new curriculum through various phases of a participatory process. Responsibilities include:

  • Anticipating and planning the goals and milestones of the revision process.
  • Steering and facilitating the participatory process involving various stakeholders.
  • Organizing, executing, and documenting workshops, including the preparation and editing of discussion documents.
  • Assisting, supporting, and evaluating experimental teaching formats and initiatives that contribute to the curriculum revision.
  • Setting up and maintaining both physical and digital spaces that serve as a public platform for the revision process.
  • Assisting in the monitoring process for the BSc ARCH program.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate possesses a strong interest in all aspects of teaching within an architecture school, including practice, reflection, teaching formats, competency development, and administration. A proven record of engaging with these areas, alongside an interest in change management, is essential. Familiarity with the teaching environment of the Department is considered an asset.
