We Can Offer You the Following Tasks
The ROC Connectivity Engineer is responsible for the initial phase of a performance-based contract that connects systems within an ecosystem comprising customers and suppliers. This role involves testing and commissioning our machines while designing future operations. Additionally, the engineer supports PrimeServ Assist customers and oversees the monitoring of compressor plants using Everllence CEON (Monitoring System). With their expertise, they actively contribute to the digitalization efforts within PrimeServ.
- Implementation of CEON in the ecosystem of the operation alliance.
- Support testing and commissioning to prepare for the operational phase and foster collaboration with the customer (proof of concept).
- Continuous monitoring of plants under a PrimeServ Assist contract based on operating data made available via CEON.
- Provide technical consulting for all operational issues of the monitored plants.
- Generate monthly and yearly reports, maintaining customer relations through the Remote Operation Center (ROC) ZRH.
- Coordinate the monitoring onboarding process once the Remote Monitoring Contracts are signed.
- Conduct troubleshooting on customer sites as necessary and coordinate detailed root cause analyses with all involved parties, including laboratories, R&D departments, and third-party consultants.
- Play an active role in the hotline service (Techline).
You Can Help Us with These Qualifications
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering with strong IT skills.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in calculation and/or design and/or erection of turbomachinery, rotating equipment, and subsystems.
- Familiarity with technologies related to IoT, physical connectivity (switching, routing, firewall), protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.), and data storage and management.
- Self-motivated with a strong inner drive.
- Knowledge of IT security is a plus.
- Excellent coordination, organization, and communication skills in a dynamic environment.
- Able to establish strong collaboration with internal and external departments.
