The Role of Commercial Director

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Director to join us at The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel in Switzerland!

Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a vital role as an integral member of the Hotel Leadership team, collectively responsible for making key strategic and operational decisions for the hotel.

About the Position

The Director of Marketing oversees all marketing activities with the support of various teams, including Sales, Revenue Management, Reservations, and Public Relations. This leadership role focuses on all Sales, Marketing, and product development activities to maximize revenue per room occupied while supporting brand clarity.

In collaboration with the General Manager, you will provide direction on:

• Pricing strategies
• Revenue management
• Marketing and communication strategies
• Room sales strategy and tactics

Your responsibilities will also encompass developing and implementing the Annual Sales and Marketing Plan and budget process, analyzing the property’s capabilities, and identifying direct sales, advertising, and public relations programs to attract business. You will also manage the hotel's presence and content across all communication channels, develop the Public Relations strategy, and craft the Social Media strategy along with overseeing updates and execution in collaboration with your PR Director.
