Your Role

Are you a dynamic Client Advisor dedicated to delivering an exceptional client experience? Do you possess a strong track record in client advisory and sales? Are you well-connected with Hong Kong and Chinese entrepreneurs, Ultra-High Net-Worth Individuals, and families? Are you a proven risk manager?

We are seeking a Wealth Management Client Advisor based in Zurich, Switzerland, to cover both the Hong Kong and China markets.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Build, establish, and grow client relationships.
  • Provide trusted advice to clients in collaboration with colleagues from investment products and solutions teams.
  • Develop the client book with measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client investor profiles.
  • Take a strategic view of clients’ investments and closely monitor portfolio quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and standards in alignment with our risk management culture.

Your Team

You will be part of a well-established High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI)/Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individual (UHNWI) team in Zurich, Switzerland, that has a multi-decade track record in covering both Hong Kong and China markets.

We focus on managing, preserving, and growing our clients’ wealth, along with assisting them in planning for and managing succession. We are committed to providing our employees with ongoing training and continuous education to enhance their ability to serve our clients and promote personal development.

As a Client Advisor, you will play a key role in helping us maintain our position as a global leader in wealth management.

Your Expertise

  • Over 15 years of proven experience in wealth management from leading private banks, specifically within the Hong Kong and China markets.
  • Strong Mandarin and Cantonese language skills (ideally at a native level) in the context of sophisticated and complex financial advisory.
  • An extensive network of Hong Kong and Chinese entrepreneurs, business owners of listed companies, private equity firms, U/HNWIs, and Next-Gen clients in key industries including healthcare, technology, and commodities.
  • Knowledge and experience in collaborating with Global Banking, Global Markets, Investment Banking, and Asset Management from a wealth management perspective to strategize on UBS's One Bank solution is advantageous.
  • A firm grasp of financial markets and regulatory frameworks in Hong Kong and China.
  • Business management experience with enhanced risk management and process knowledge in Wealth Management is considered a plus.
  • Cultural competence in understanding the values and investment interests of clients from the Hong Kong and China markets banking with UBS in Switzerland.
  • A highly educated background in Business Administration or Finance, holding both a Bachelor's and Master's degree.
