Job Description
As a Cheese Maturation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality cheese while preparing it for delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Adhering to food safety regulations and HACCP standards
- Maintaining compliance with occupational safety regulations
- Ensuring that quality requirements are consistently met
- Caring for various types of cheese and conducting quality controls of raw materials
- Recording production data in the operating system
- Preparing raw materials for production (packaging)
- Overseeing the assembly, disassembly, and cleaning of production facilities
- Performing general cleaning tasks to ensure a smooth production process
We are looking for a committed and reliable individual to strengthen our team in the food industry in the Bern region.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training (EFZ) in the food sector (cheesemaker, cook, butcher, or in food or dairy technology)
- Strong technical understanding of machinery and excellent hygiene awareness
- Initial knowledge in system applications with SAP
- Flexibility and mobility, with a willingness to work in a two-shift system
- Very good oral and written skills in German (at least B1 level)
