Business Analytics Partner / Business Analytics Partneress

Bavarian Nordic Berna GmbH - March 4, 2026

Join Our Team as a Business Analytics Partner

At Bavarian Nordic, we are enhancing our data and analytics capabilities across Global Operations, and we are seeking a skilled Business Analytics Partner to help us advance to the next level. If you have a passion for collaborating with the business, translating needs into clear analytical solutions, and developing top-notch Power BI reports, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role

As our new Business Analytics Partner, you will serve as the vital link between business operations and IT, playing a key role in shaping how data is utilized across Global Operations. You will manage the complete analytics lifecycle—from understanding business challenges to data validation, ultimately delivering reliable, user-friendly Power BI solutions.

Your collaboration will extend across the entire value chain, engaging stakeholders in procurement, logistics, warehousing, customer service, production, master data, and operational leadership. Your efforts will directly support daily operations and strategic decision-making while fostering a strong, data-driven culture at Bavarian Nordic. This role uniquely combines deep Power BI expertise with close business partnership, challenging assumptions and ensuring well-documented solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with operational leaders to enhance request intake quality through user stories, translating challenges into clear analytical and reporting requirements.
  • Lead the development of Power BI datasets, dashboards, and applications from start to finish.
  • Support data analytics governance practices by establishing and training a super-user network to reinforce consistency across Global Operations.
  • Define and validate data requirements with IT and data engineering teams, ensuring data completeness, lineage, and compliance in a GxP environment.
  • Prioritize analytical requests based on business value and the clarity of the underlying decisions.
  • Own and maintain the reporting landscape for your functional areas, driving user adoption and contributing to the development of a data-driven culture alongside the Data Transformation Manager.
  • Enhance the data culture by collaborating with BI colleagues, strengthening the super-user network, and supporting standardized reporting processes.

About the Team

You will be part of the Global Digital Transformation team, working alongside four colleagues within the Global Supply Chain organization, which comprises over 100 talented professionals across our locations. In this role, you will influence how reporting evolves across the entire value chain.

This position is based in either Kvistgaard, Denmark, or Bern, Switzerland, with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week. A valid work permit for one of these locations is required, and a strong on-site presence is expected initially to build trust with both business and IT.

Are You Our Next Pioneer?

If you possess solid experience with Power BI and thrive on combining technical development with close collaboration with business stakeholders, we want to hear from you. You should be structured, curious, and confident enough to challenge assumptions constructively. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and seek continuous improvement over the status quo, this opportunity is for you.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with Power BI in a business-critical or regulated environment.
  • Strong competencies in data modeling, DAX, and report design.
  • Experience validating data quality and understanding data lineage (GxP experience is a plus).
  • Confidence in engaging directly with senior stakeholders, translating their needs into analytical solutions.
  • A structured, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (Proficiency in Danish or German is a plus).

Why Join Us?

By joining Bavarian Nordic, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Play a central role in shaping how Global Operations utilizes data.
  • Gain insights into the entire vaccine supply chain within a global GxP-regulated environment.
  • Influence the analytical direction and reporting landscape across the value chain.
