Role and Responsibility

We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our team. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and integrating flight control systems for our products.
  • Defining flight control architectures and system requirements based on performance, safety, and operational objectives.
  • Taking system design responsibility for assigned electrical and electronic systems throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Creating and maintaining design data such as specifications, wiring diagrams, configurations, interface definitions, and test procedures.
  • Prototyping assembly of components and systems.
  • Leading and supporting the integration of systems in the aircraft.
  • Assisting with ground and flight testing, including hands-on troubleshooting activities.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and problem-solving.
  • Managing avionics components and system suppliers.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • A higher education degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical, electronics, avionics, or system integration engineering.
  • Strong expertise in electrical flight control systems, including manufacturing support, assembly, and testing.
  • A hands-on mindset with a strong ability and willingness to troubleshoot, analyze, and solve technical problems.
  • A high degree of flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and growing company.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills across disciplines.
  • Fluency in English – both written and spoken.
  • Familiarity with M365 (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to ownership from kickoff to delivery.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency with at least one major electrical CAD/ECAD tool (e.g., for schematics, wiring, or harness design).
  • Experience working in high-quality and safety-critical environments (e.g., aviation, automotive, medical devices, rail, or similar).
  • Experience with certification processes and/or familiarity with EASA Part 21 regulations.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • German language skills at a B2 - Upper Intermediate level.
