The Position

As the Associate Vice President, Commercial Transformation, you will play a crucial role in accelerating our commercial transformation agenda. This position is instrumental in implementing innovative strategies to enhance commercial execution, modernize customer engagement, and scale digital enablement across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide transformation through the implementation and evolution of next-generation CMR platforms.
  • Drive innovation in customer engagement solutions, leveraging data, analytics, and digital technologies to improve impact and efficiency.
  • Develop comprehensive multichannel strategies to enhance customer (HCP) engagement and digital enablement.
  • Set strategic direction and drive transformation initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure excellence in commercial execution and build enterprise capabilities to expedite the commercial transformation agenda.
  • Guide segmentation, channel optimization, and sales force effectiveness in sales planning and channel definition.
  • Represent the function in executive forums to influence strategic decisions that align with organizational objectives.

The position is based in Zürich, Switzerland.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial marketing, business transformation, or related fields.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale commercial strategies and transformation efforts.
  • Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives, including CRM implementation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Solid expertise in market research, product management, and promotional campaign development.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics, AI tools, and agile methodologies.
  • Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams within the pharmaceutical industry and consumer healthcare.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing external partnerships.
  • A master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

The position is part of the IO-SO Medical, Marketing & Regulatory team, based in International Operations. Our department is at the forefront of driving innovation and transformation within the organization.
