Are you ready to shape the future of Biomedical Research with cutting-edge scientific analysis and design platforms? As the Delivery Lead in the Analysis & Design Delivery Segment, you will drive the implementation and adoption of new and significantly enhanced digital capabilities for Biomedical Research. You will be at the forefront of delivery leadership, operating within a high-performing, cross-functional matrix team.

Your responsibilities will include managing initiatives from prioritization through execution, ensuring compliance with architectural, security, and governance standards while fostering innovative value creation for Biomedical Research.

Key Responsibilities

  • You are accountable for the outcomes of Analysis & Design, translating domain needs into actionable proposals and initiatives.
  • Enhance Analysis & Design capabilities for Biomedical Research, establishing a visionary roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of domain-specific software initiatives, from planning to transition to operations.
  • Ensure predictable delivery across initiatives while collaborating with business stakeholders and other functions.
  • Provide strategic input and prioritization for delivery-segment investments to support high-value initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional matrix teams, coordinating resources and ensuring aligned execution.
  • Proactively manage expectations, escalate issues, and serve as the primary interface for delivery orchestration.
  • Communicate project progress and outcomes effectively to stakeholders and the wider organization.
  • Ensure all initiative deliverables meet architectural, security, and governance standards.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with Data & Digital functions and corporate IT for platform improvement.

Essential for the Role

  • 8+ years of experience delivering complex scientific software, data, or informatics platforms.
  • Strong project management skills, including prioritization, planning, and risk management.
  • Experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholder groups and communicate effectively.
  • Understanding of the generation, management, and usage of experimental and computational data in drug discovery.
  • Expertise in delivering modern analysis and design capabilities through AI/ML and other scientific software platforms.
  • Ability to connect scientific, technological, and data objectives, translating them into actionable deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving and modern delivery practices driving urgency and high-performance behaviors.

Desirable for the Role

  • Formal project management training such as Project Management Professional or Certified Scrum Master.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or scientific research environments.
