Your Impact
In this role, you will take ownership of specific areas and oversee crucial aspects of financial and regulatory audits for asset managers, management companies, and traditional, real estate, and alternative funds, including private markets and life insurance funds. You will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of audit work.
- Oversee planning, execution, and completion of audits in compliance with IFRS and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Lead audit teams with a focus on quality, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and the timely delivery of high-quality audit files for Partner review.
- Act as the primary liaison among clients, actuaries, and senior management to present audit findings and provide expert advice on technical accounting and regulatory matters.
- Drive the adoption of digital tools for audit enhancement, utilizing platforms such as Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, including ESG reporting and sustainability standards, and assist clients in adapting to evolving regulatory requirements.
- Foster a collaborative, coaching culture by mentoring and supporting junior team members in their continuous professional development.
- Coordinate international and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless audit delivery across geographical regions.
Your Skill Set
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- 4 to 5 years of auditing experience, particularly in auditing asset owners, life insurance companies, funds, and alternative investment portfolios.
- Strong experience with IFRS audits, ideally including IFRS 4 and IFRS 17 related to insurance auditing.
- Demonstrated skills in audit planning, execution, regulatory compliance, and client relationship management.
- Proficiency in digital audit transformation with hands-on experience using tools like Aura, Alteryx, and Power BI to streamline analytical reviews.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both French and English, facilitating effective interactions with clients and team members.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-changing regulatory and technological environments.
