Your Typical CitizenM Shift
A shift at citizenM may typically include:
- Ensuring guest satisfaction
- Welcoming guests, assisting with check-in and check-out at kiosks
- Maintaining a clean and comfortable hotel environment
- Providing recommendations for local shopping, dining, and attractions
- Handling reservations and administrative tasks
- Working with the Hotel Management System
- Managing daily SocietyM meeting rooms and functions, as necessary
Stewardship Responsibilities
- Leading, motivating, and supporting Ambassadors
- Ensuring a strong grasp of citizenM brand values
- Coaching, training, and evaluating team members
- Demonstrating problem-solving skills and effective decision-making
- Creating shift schedules, maintaining coverage, and assigning tasks
- Adhering to relevant legislation governing hotel operations
Food and Beverage Duties
- Serving guests at canteenM
- Utilizing Point of Sale systems
- Possessing in-depth product knowledge and ensuring quality at canteenM
- Managing daily F&B revenue targets and aiming for monthly objectives
- Identifying revenue opportunities and enhancing guest experiences
- Collaborating with other departments to maintain optimal room inventory
- Reporting daily hotel revenue and overseeing cash handling
- Managing food and beverage purchasing and stock levels efficiently
If you believe you meet the qualifications we are looking for, you:
- Must be fluent in English, with knowledge of other languages being a plus
- Require a valid work permit
- Need at least 2 years of managerial or coaching experience, hospitality experience not mandatory
- Must be a team player who enjoys interacting with diverse individuals
- Demonstrate a passion for your work and possess strong multitasking abilities
