Uniworld Boutique River Cruises proudly operates a fleet of eleven intimate, boutique river cruise ships sailing the enchanting European waterways, exclusively catering to English-speaking clients. To further enhance our Nautical Team, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional for the role of:
1st Captain
Your Responsibilities
- Navigating the ship in accordance with the company's safety regulations and guidelines
- Ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew on board
- Overseeing ship maintenance during the season and winter period
- Professional management of the Nautical Team
- Communicating effectively on board with the Hotel Manager and Cruise Manager
About You
- You have experience in a similar role on the Rhine-Main-Danube
- You may have experience with Z-Drive systems (not mandatory)
- You possess a license for the Rhine up to Mainz and/or the Danube
- You are an innovative, flexible, and proactive leader and team player
- You communicate fluently in German and/or English
- You have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- You are eager to learn and grow in your role
